Safety & Compliance
Safety is our number one priority at United. Our safety and compliance teams are dedicated to ensuring our aircraft and all support systems are meeting rigorous regulatory and safety guidelines.
Supply Chain, Planning & Analytics
From fleet and maintenance planning to logistics and data analytics, these teams keep our aircraft, parts, shops, suppliers and schedules synced together so we can run an on-time and efficient airline.
Aircraft Maintenance Technician
Aircraft Maintenance Technicians are licensed A&P technicians that maintain, repair or overhaul our expansive fleet. Our technicians handle inspections, preventive maintenance, parts replacements, repairs and routine maintenance in addition to heavy maintenance.
Ground Service Equipment & Facilities Technicians
Ground Service Equipment teams maintain and repair vital ground equipment to ensure it’s in good working condition. Facilities teams are responsible for United-operated facilities equipment, along with maintaining HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
Storekeepers & Utility Specialists
Storekeeper support the operation by managing efficient warehouses. This includes receiving, inventorying and storing of supplies, parts and materials. Utility Specialists are non-licensed technicians that perform minor repairs on aircraft and ground equipment.

Technician Pathway Program
We are looking for the best and brightest technicians! Students from Aviation Institute of Maintenance, National Aviation Academy, Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics, and reservists from the U.S. Army can now apply for our Technician Pathway Program (TPP). This new program provides a direct pathway into maintenance technician roles at United and offers priority screening consideration.
