Pilot Program At United, we value United States Armed Forces members and military pilots, and we want you on our team. The United Military Pilot Program establishes a pathway for active-duty military pilots to become United First Officers.

 Whether you're approaching the end of your flying career or just starting to explore options for your post-military journey, we can help plan for your future before the end of your active service. Successful program candidates will receive a United conditional job offer (CJO).

We are looking for talented pilot candidates who are:
Currently serving on active duty and full-time active-duty members of the Armed Forces of the United States, including active reserves currently serving as TAR, FTS, or AGR. 
Flying as a pilot of manned aircraft
More than 12 months away from their date of availability to start full-time with United, and minimum 12 months from separation date
