Tech Ops Co-Ops work on projects throughout the system that may emphasize Line & Base Engineering, Interiors Engineering, Avionics, Powerplant Engineering, Structures Engineering, Digital Fleet Management, and more.

No. Students that require U.S. visa sponsorship, now or in the future, are not eligible for United internships. 

Yes. You’ll need to send us the documents required by your school/university, so that you receive credit. 

We do not restrict the number of roles you can apply for but we advise applying for no more than 5 roles that align with your interests and career goals. 

No. Housing isn’t provided, but if you’re eligible for relocation a recruiter will let you know in your internship offer. 

Most roles are in Chicago. However, some roles require you to be based at other hubs. Be sure to thoroughly read the job description, it will list the location for each role.  

Summer internships are 12 weeks. Co-Op internships are 5-6 months long.
