Please note that this position will be hired under the United Catering Operation Food Services divisional work rules.

Salary - 11.48 Hour

 
Key Duties, Responsibilities, and Activities
 
  • Clean all cabs.
  • Fuel all fleet vehicles.
  • Maintain tools and equipment.
  • Perform basic inspection of all fleet vehicles per inspection checklist.
  • Responsible for keeping supplies and parts in order.
                                                             
Hours/Breaks
 
      Shifts cover a 24-hour operation. Breaks and meal periods will be assigned
      according to number of hours worked in a shift. 
 
Qualifications
 
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Basic math skills to calculate totals and percentages.
  • High school diploma/General Education Degree (GED).
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Must be willing to work any shift in a 24/7 week including weekends, nights and holidays.
  • Must clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check.  
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license (suspended, expired, revoked, or denied licenses are not valid).
  • Orally communicate with coworkers and managers (both in-person and using two-way radios).
  • Receive and store hazardous commercial chemicals as covered by the Material Safety Data Sheets.
  • Respond to meal count and aircraft changes.
  • Work under time constraints.
       
Working Conditions
 
      Employee must be able to work in a climate-controlled area of a minimum of 35
      degrees
. (Exposure to temperature extremes and humidity and aircraft noise)
 
 
 
 
Physical Requirements
 
  • Continuous standing and walking during an 8 hour shift.
  • Frequent bending to pick up equipment from ground level.  
  • Lifting and carrying carriers up to 75 lbs of equipment and beverage carriers.  

Pushing and pulling up to 75 lbs of modules, carts and wagons.
