Catering Operations - Senior Clerk, Safety and Maintenance; Denver, CO (DEN)

The Catering Operations division develops, creates and provides the great dining experiences on board our aircraft.

Job overview and responsibilities

The Senior Clerk, Catering Operations - Safety and Maintenance will receive, maintain and trend monthly GSE reports for parts and repairs and process work orders for preventative maintenance completions in the Keeptrak MX program. This position may also be asked to manage the day-to-day aspects of safety, audit and compliance data captured from Internal Evaluation Program and operating divisions to identify risk and promote safety. The Senior Clerk will use data from multiple sources to include document reviews, ramp observations, and internal and external audits to make safety improvement suggestions. This position may also be asked to evaluate and complete risk assessments of events, observations and regulatory or safety issues. In addition to the already mentioned responsibilities this Senior Clerk will analyze trends and communicate to the management team the results of trends and risk assessments. The position also maintains and trends weekly environmental records for vendors (i.e. Presto-X, ECO Lab, etc.).

• Maintain both trending and preventative maintenance order scheduling in Keeptrax MX program
• Manage day-to-day aspects of safety, maintenance, audit and compliance data to include identifying risk and promoting safety 


  • High School diploma, General Education Development (GED) or an educational equivalent of these (from another country)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills


  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Advanced knowledge of data systems
  • Expertise in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated experience in database and risk assessment
  • One to three years experience working in databases in an analytical capacity
  • Experience in quality and safety audits


  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
  • This position is located in Denver, CO at the Denver International Airport. United Airlines may not provide travel to and from the interview and will not offer relocation assistance for this position
