Meet the CIEO team:





Responsible for leading project teams of typically two to six team members focused on solving key business problems across both corporate and operations functions. Project work typically includes gathering and analyzing information and data, formulating and testing hypotheses and working with frontline as well as departmental leadership to develop short and long term solutions and implement sustainable change. Projects range in duration and complexity from quick analyses lasting two to three weeks to large scale transformative efforts that last four to six months. This role would also be responsible with helping guide the deployment and development of resources within Continuous Improvement and Enterprise Optimization (CIEO) as well as support developing a strategic approach both within CIEO and with clients on project work




  • Lead projects in conjunction with business teams to identify opportunities for improvement, gather and analyze information and data, develop improvements and innovations
  • Helps develop new projects and opportunities through research and analysis
  • Leads development of end-to-end executive level communications for high level report outs
  • Conduct and/or support training of CIEO team members on Continuous Improvement tools and techniques in both formal and informal (just-in-time) settings

  • Able to apply advanced Lean principles (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Standard Work Cellular Flow, Pull Replenishment, Demand and Production smoothing, Mistake Proofing, Total Productive Maintenance) or advanced Six Sigma principles (DMAIC approach, SIPOC, Process Capability, Root Cause Analysis, Normal and Non-Normal data Statistical Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Design of Experiments) to process improvement
  • Minimum 2 years of professional work experience using statistical analysis
  • Completion of multiple cross functional projects using Lean Six Sigma DMAIC to complete Continuous Improvement tools and techniques
  • Black Belt training completed with successful completion of an exam
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Business Administration OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Business Administration and two years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in CI or consulting
  • Two years of experience in CI or consulting
  • Demonstrated diverse (multiple business areas) CI portfolio implementation



  • Strong functional knowledge, including but not limited to strategy, business development, airpot operations, airline technical operations, network operations, supply chain, marketing and sales, etc.
  • Black Belt certification from an LSS training/certification vendor that includes completion of a real-life project, formal in-class training and exam
  • Advanced degree;  MBA
  • 3+ years of airline business experience
  • 3+ years of diverse CI portfolio implementation
  • 1+ years GB and BB training experience
