Manager - Domestic Pricing

Overview


Direct Pricing activity through review and analysis of competitive market conditions and effective interface with Revenue Management and Pricing systems.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of pricing analysts and strategic analysts in executing Pricing techniques to achieve optimal revenue performance in an assigned sub-entity.

  • Translate strategic direction into actionable activities by analyst team and monitor analysts actions and outcomes to ensure adherence to strategy.

  • Administer a training regimen and ensure continuous development of Pricing staff within the entity.

  • Oversee strategic analysts in ad hoc project work with the goal of improving entity or network-wide revenue performance.

  • Assist in cross functional department projects that require analysis and use of Revenue Management/Pricing data to help in understanding of revenue impact of different ideas.

 

 
 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required

Knowledge/Skills

  • Knowledge of database products which allow for analysis

  • Managerial capability

  • Analytical ability to create models and generate spreadsheets to provide support recommendations

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory management or pricing

 Other

  • Regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with United's policy is required

  • Attendance is required at work location
