Food Services

The Food Services department develops, creates and provides the great dining experiences on board our aircraft.


Please note that this position will be hired under the Chelsea Food Services divisional work rules.

Job overview and responsibilities

  • Log daily HACCP records Conduct daily kitchen walk-thru assessments and report any discrepancies 
  • Create waste log form and report
  • Assist to train Food Safety Classes for recurrent and new hire orientation
  • Communicate updates via email
  • Enter data into excel spreadsheets and generate reports
  • Communicate with internal kitchen departments
  • Ensure food product, which is no longer of quality to be served, is waste logged recorded and turned into accounting
  • Review HACCP data for accuracy
  • Generate all documents required
  • Fill out MX reports and keep log
  • Package and send product samples for lab analysis testing
  • During kitchen audits walk with auditors and photograph and document items found with auditor and supervisor
  • Help inform associates in a positive manner, when performing observations and the associate does not follow proper SOP's
  • Spot check compliance of kitchen cleaning
  • Other administrative duties as assigned


  • Strong reading and writing skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites (Outlook, Word, and Excel)  
  • Able to create memos, email grammatically correct and professional
  • Ability to work with a diversified work force
  • Able to handle multiple assignments
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, problem solving and attention to detail and to quality
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must work under stringent time deadlines
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Must be willing to work any shift in a 24/7 week, including weekends, nights and holidays
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position


  • High school diploma/General Educational Development (GED) or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Inflight catering
