Job overview and responsibilities
The Senior Analyst’s primary responsibilities are to support the department’s budget and forecast, five-year strategic business plan, and capital plan. Performs financial analysis and provides analytical and strategic support for decision making to department leaders. The Sr Analyst regularly provides training on tools and implements practices that enhance productivity.
  • Develops annual operating plan, establishes relevant performance metrics, and measures performance against department goals
  • Timely and accurate submission / analysis of department forecast, plan, and capital
  • Analyzes capital projects, develops strategic plans, and provides analytical support to business partners
  • Provides proper training, support, and development to operational leaders  
  • Bachelor’s degree and equivalent work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Leadership experience
  • Ability to engage frontline and department leaders
  • Ability to lead and sustain continuous improvement and process change
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Experience with financial accounting and operating expense statement variance analysis
  • Experience in analyzing business cases (financial return on investment)
  • Successful candidate must be able to clear a criminal history check in order to obtain and retain credentials necessary for position
  • Specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA / TSA / Airport Authority / US Customs
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
  • CFA, MBA, or CPA
  • Green Belt or Lean Six Sigma
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in large departmental environment
  • Business acumen
  • Understanding of financial systems
  • Understanding of AFE process
